Ever since the arrival of AEW to wrestling scene, WWE stars have for the first time had a chance to wrestle elsewhere outside their own promotion. Far too often, wrestlers in WWE may not always have been booked in the best way possible. They have had most of their runs in WWE wasted as they either spent too much time sitting around and not doing anything, or being booked so badly that their characters stopped making any sort of sense.
However, with the arrival of AEW, many of the wrestlers who were not able to succeed in WWE, or at least achieve the level of popularity and fame that they rightfully deserved, found another home. In AEW, with Tony Khan giving the wrestlers more of a say in how they are booked on the shows, most of the wrestlers have gimmicks and characters they enjoy more. Not to say that all the former WWE wrestlers have found success in AEW, but there are definitely a lot of them who have made their name in the company.
