1000HP Lancia Delta Proto RR1 EVO by Rama Racing - 8.64s 1/4 Mile + OnBoard - Rivanazzano Airport

This is the legendary 1000HP Lancia Delta Proto RR1 EVO by Rama Racing, driven by Mauro Ghini. Surely this car is at the top regarding the development of this specific model and is used in drag racing. The video you see was shot during the Hills Race event on the Rivanazzano Dragway/airport, Pavia. The times speak for themselves; during the race weekend, Delta RR1 recorded a staggering 8.64s over a distance of 1/4 mile with an output speed of 258 km/h. In 2016 at the Hockenheimring circuit in Germany, at the prestigious European Nitrolympx race, this car set an extraordinary time of 8.601 seconds! The engine is based on the original 2.0-litre 16v Delta Integrale. Obviously, everything has been adapted to withstand this power. The gearbox is sequential with 5 speed derived from the rally; the differentials externally maintain the original coverage but internally use specific components. The set-up has been specially designed as traction is the most important thing in this kind of races. Questa è la mitica Lancia Delta Proto RR1 EVO by Rama Racing guidata da Mauro Ghini in grado di sviluppare oltre 1000cv! Sicuramente quest'auto è al vertice per quanto riguarda l'elaborazione di questo specifico modello e viene impiegata nelle gare di drag racing. Il video che vedete è stato girato durante la manifestazione Hills Race sulla pista/aeroporto di Rivanazzano, Pavia. I tempi parlano da soli, durante il weekend di gara ha registrato uno stepitoso 8.64s sulla distanza di 1/4 di Miglio con una velocità di uscita pari a 258 Km/h. Nel 2016 sul circuito di Hockenheim, in Germania, presso la prestigiosa gara europeo Nitrolympx quest'auto ha segnato uno straordinario tempo di 8.601 secondi! Il motore ha come base di partenza quello originale della Delta Integrale 16v da 2.0-litri. Ovviamente tutto è stato adattato per reggere questa potenza. Il cambio è sequenziale a 5 rapporti di derivazione rally, i differenziali esternamente mantengono la copertura originale ma internamente utilizzano componenti specifici. L'assetto è stato studiato appositamente inquanto la trazione risulta la cosa più importante in questo genere di gare.
