1200Hp "Mister X" Chevrolet C10 Pick-Up (1973) by 2000 Motors - Super Pro ET OnBoard & Drag Races!

This superb 1973 Chevrolet C10 Pick-Up nicknamed "Mister X" participated in the Super Pro ET drag races category and was realised by the specialists of 2000 Motors SNC at their headquarters in Nichelino (TO). Brought into the race by Emanuele Gilioli, who has been participating in the Drag Races for years (maybe remember his fantastic Chevrolet 3100 blue Pick-Up) has a 588 C.I. V8 engine. (about 9.6-litres of displacement) That with 120 Octane petrol develops 900hp. With the addition of NOS, you get to around 1200hp! The automatic transmission is a two-speed Th400 — total weight of the pick-up, 1,400kg. The best time scored at 1/4 mile distance was 8.66sec with an output speed of 256 Km/h. I have to thank the owner Emanuele Gilioli and all the 2000 Motors guys for their kindness and availability towards me, allowing to install an action-cam in the Chevrolet's cockpit.
The external video scenes were filmed during the 2019 edition of the Wide Open Spring National and the 16th Hills Race at the Rivanazzano track (Pv).

Questo splendido Chevrolet C10 Pick-Up del 1973 soprannominato "Mister X" partecipa alle gare di accelerazione nella categoria Super Pro ET ed è stato preparato e realizzato dagli specialisti di 2000 Motors SNC presso la loro sede di Nichelino (TO). Portato in gara da Emanuele Gilioli, che da anni partecipa alle Drag Races (indimenticabile il suo Chevrolet 3100 Pick-Up azzurro) monta un motore V8 da 588 C.I. (circa 9.6-litri di cilindrata) che con benzina 120 Ottani sviluppa 900cv. Con l'aggiunta del NOS si arriva a circa 1200cv! La trasmissione automatica è una Th400 a due rapporti. Peso complessivo del pick-up, 1.400kg. Il tempo migliore fatto segnare su 1/4 di miglio è stato di 8.66sec. con una velocità di uscita pari a 256 Km/h. Ringrazio enormemente il proprietario Emanuele Gilioli e tutti i ragazzi della 2000 Motors per la loro gentilezza e disponibilità nei miei confronti permettendomi di installare una action-cam nell'abitacolo del Chevrolet.
