1957 Ferrari 500 TRC performing at Monza & Varano racetrack - Modena 100 Ore Classic 2018

This awesome 1957 Ferrari 500 TRC, chassis # 0698MDTR was brought to the 2018 Modena 100 Ore Classic, in Italy, by the crew Christian Hore-Joe Macari of the UK Team "The Royal Automobile Club". The car, number 16 of 19 built, was sold, new, by Luigi Chinetti, the Ferrari importer in the United States to the businessman and Cuban pilot Julio Batista Falla. In its long career, the car raced in the sports car championships in countries such as Sweden, Venezuela, Cuba and the United States in Sebring. Theoretically powered by 2 liters, 4 cylinders in line, aspirated 190hp engine, here is fitted with a V12 engine, certainly more performing. I haven't found other information about this power unit.

Questo splendido esemplare di Ferrari 500 TRC del 1957 telaio #0698MDTR è stato portato in gara all'edizione 2018 della Modena 100 Ore Classic, in Italia, dall'equipaggio Christian Hore-Joe Macari del Team "The Royal Automobile Club " UK. La vettura, numero 16 di 19 costruite è stata venduta, nuova, da Luigi Chinetti, l'importatore Ferrari negli Stati Uniti all'uomo d'affari e pilota cubano Julio Batista Falla. Nella sua lunga carriere di gare ha corso nei campionati vetture sport in paesi quali Svezia, Venezuela, Cuba e negli stati uniti a Sebring. Teoricamente motorizzata dal 2 litri, 4 cilindri in linea, aspirato da circa 190cv, qui l'ho filmata con un V12, sicuramente più performante ma di cui non ho trovato altre informazioni.
