1982 Ferrari 512 BB LM by Gipimotor - OnBoard & Wet Race at Imola Classic 2018 by Peter Auto

I had the pleasure of filming this beautiful 1982 Ferrari 512 BB LM (chassis 44023) driven by Jèrèmy Lancksweert - Christophe Van Riet in the Classic Endurance Racing II category during the 2018 edition of Imola Classic by Peter Auto at the Imola racetrack. I have to thank the Belgian Gipimotor team that allowed me to install an Action-Cam inside the car to capture this epic OnBoard sound. Congratulations to the crew, going fourth fastest overall. This specific car is the 25th and final BB LM built, sold new to Belgian distributor and Garage Francorchamps team owner Jacques Swaters and after some races in Ferrari events and belonging to a Japanese collection, it has undergone several hands changes. In the last 15 years it has remained unused but thanks to the care of Gipimotor the 512 BB LM has returned to the racetrack and made its appearance again in 2018. The engine is the type F102 BB LM 180º V12 mid, longitudinally mounted with a displacement of 4,942 cc (301.6 cu in), naturally aspirated that develops a power of 464 bhp (346 kW) at 7,250 rpm and 451 Nm (333 ft-lbs) at 4,600 rpm of Torque. The shape built in fibreglass and Kevlar and the chassis is tubular spaceframe with sheet steel reinforcements. The car mounts a 5-speed Manual gearbox and Weight only 1,050 kilos (2,315 lbs)

Ho avuto il piacere di filmare questa bellissima Ferrari 512 BB LM del 1982 (telaio 44023) guidata dall'equipaggio Jèrèmy Lancksweert - Christophe Van Riet nella categoria Classic Endurance Racing II durante l'edizione 2018 di Imola Classic organizzata da Peter Auto sul circuito di Imola. Dobbiamo ringraziare il team belga Gipimotor che ci hanno permesso di installare una Action-Cam all'interno dell'auto per catturare questo spettacolare OnBoard. Congratulazioni per il risultato finale, quarto assoluto. Questa vettura specifica è la 25esima e ultima BB LM costruita, venduta nuova al distributore belga ed al proprietario del team di Garage Francorchamps, Jacques Swaters. Dopo alcune gare negli eventi Ferrari è appartenuta ad una collezione giapponese. Dopo diversi passaggi di mano e negli ultimi 15 anni un totale inutilizzo, la Gipimotor ne è entrata in possesso e l'ha rimessa in pista facendo nuovamente la sua comparsa nel 2018. Il motore è del tipo F102 BB LM 180º V12 montato in posizione centrale longitudinalmente con una cilindrata di 4.942 cc (301,6 cu in), aspirato, che sviluppa una potenza di 464 CV (346 kW) a 7.250 giri/min ed una coppia massima di 451 Nm (333 ft-lbs) a 4.600 giri/min. La carrozzeria è costruita in fibra di vetro e Kevlar mentre il telaio è uno spaceframe tubolare con rinforzi in lamiera d'acciaio. La macchina monta un cambio manuale a 5 marce e pesa solo 1.050 chili (2.315 libbre).
