Regulation and overtime weren't enough for the Finland versus Sweden game at the 2016 National Junior Evaluation Camp. Sweden got on the board first and held a 1-0 lead until the last minute of play in the first period when Finland evened the score. In the second period, Finland struck first but Sweden tied it up in the period. Neither team was able to score in the third or overtime periods leading to a shootout. Sweden won the game, 3-2, after the back and forth battle between the two teams during the shootout.
