In this video, I gathered the clips regarding these two splendid Maserati 250F in action on the Nurburgring track in the section dedicated to the Historic Grand Prix Cars during the 46th and 47th AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix. The first of the two, cream-coloured, chassis #2521 from 1956, driven by Martin Halusa, was made by the factory for Jean Behra, in red colour, The following year, 1957, was taken into the race by Jean Testout and ended the season it was sold to a private team, it mounts a 2.5-litre 6-cylinder engine that develops 240hp at 7,200 rpm. Four-speed manual gearbox, 670Kg weight and about 290Km/h of maximum speed. Crazy. The second car is a 250F # CM5 chassis "Cameron Millar Replica", built with many parts of the original vehicles and recognised by the FIA as suitable to participate in classic car competitions. Taken into the race by Klaus Lehr he mounts a V12 engine at 60°, still 2.5-litre of displacement which allows developing around 320hp at 9,300 rpm. 5-speed manual gearbox, weighing about 650Kg and a maximum speed of over 300Km/h.
