Audi 80 B4 Competition Prototype Turbo Engine & DTM Widebody - AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix Nurburgring

This Audi 80 B4 Competition is in effect a prototype with widebody kit that recalls the DTM version that never races. In mechanics, it reminds of the French Superturismo championship cars. The owner and driver Anton Werner seems to have joined the two vehicles in a single model and is equipped with a 2.0-litre Turbo 4-cylinder engine. Unfortunately there is no other information, certainly not provided with the 2.5-litre V6 engine found in the Audi 80 B4 DTM prototype at the Ingolstadt museum. Considering that the Superturismo Audi cars with naturally aspirated 2.0-litre engine had 300hp, it can be assumed that this one has between 350hp and 400hp, seeing it in live-action I can confirm that it was speedy.
The car in the video was filmed during the 2018 & 2019 editions of the AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix on the Nurburgring track in the Tourenwagen Classics category.

Questa Audi 80 B4 Competition è a tutti gli effetti un prototipo con carrozzeria allargata che richiama la versione DTM che mai corse. Nella meccanica ricorda le auto del campionato Superturismo francese. Il proprietario e pilota Anton Werner sembra aver unito le due vetture in un'unico modello ed è equipaggiata con un motore 2.0 litri Turbo a 4 cilindri. Purtroppo non si trovano altre informazioni, sicuramente non è dotata del 2.5 litri V6 che si trova nel prototipo di Audi 80 B4 DTM al museo di Ingolstadt. Calcolando che le vetture con motore aspirato 2.0 litri Superturismo Audi avevano 300cv, si può ipotizzare che questo ne abbia tra i 350 ed i 400cv, vedendola in azione dal vivo posso confermare che era molto veloce.
La vettura nel video è stata filmata durante le edizioni 2018 & 2019 dell'AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix sulla pista del Nurburgring nella categoria dedicata alle Tourenwagen Classics.
