BMW E46 GTR S54 + OnBoard by JR Motorsport - FLAMES ???? - 12H Mugello 2021 Endurance by 24H Series

We had the pleasure of collaborating with the JR Motorsport team to film their BMW E46 GTR S54 during the Mugello 2021 12H race as part of the 24H series by Creventic championship. Yes, I know; before the purists write to me stating that this is not a real GTR because it is not equipped with the V8 engine, I reply that I've just entered S54 to identify the engine under the bonnet. You should know that the team built the car entirely on their own by purchasing the car's bodywork in 2010 and working on it to bring them to the GTR model specifications. The choice to use the S54 6-cylinder turbo engine that develops about 440hp driven by a sequential gearbox with steering wheel controls was to enter the car in the largest number of competitions, even in those where V8 engines are not allowed. In the Palmares of this E46 GTR S54, we find the victory in a couple of Dutch championships of the Supercar Challenge and the class victory at the Aurum 1006 km of Palanga in 2017.
In the 12H race at Mugello, the car was driven by three Dutch drivers, Bas, Coos & Dirk Schouten, taking the third step of the podium in the TCX class after completing 267 laps.

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di collaborare con il team JR Motorsport per filmare la loro BMW E46 GTR S54 durante la gara 12H del Mugello 2021 facente parte del campionato 24H series by Creventic. Si, lo so, prima che i puristi mi scrivano affermando che questa non è una vera GTR perchè non equipaggiata del motore V8 vi rispondo che ho inserito appunto S54 per identificare il propulsore sotto il cofano. Dovete sapere che il team ha realizzato la vettura completamente in proprio acquistando la correzzeria della vettura nel 2010 e lavorandoci per portarle alle specifiche del modello GTR. La scelta di impiegare il motore S54 a 6 cilindri turbo che sviluppa circa 440cv mosso da un cambio sequenziale con comandi al volante è stata quella di poter iscrivere l'auto nel maggior numero di competizioni, anche in quelle dove i motori V8 non sono consentiti. Nel palmares di questa E46 GTR S54 trovimo la vittoria in un paio di campionati olandesi del Supercar Challange e la vittoria di classe alla Aurum 1006 km of Palanga del 2017.
Nella gara 12H del Mugello l'auto è stata guidata da tre piloti olandesi, Bas, Coos & Dirk Schouten salendo sul terzo gradino del podio nella classe TCX dopo aver compiuto 267 giri.
