BMW Z4 GT3 and its AMAZING V8 Engine Sound! - Marco Iacoangeli OnBoard at Imola, Time Attack 2019

I was able to film again the superb BMW Z4 GT3 of the strong driver Marco Iacoangeli who took part in the last round of 2019 Time Attack Italia at the Imola circuit. Iacoangeli, a specialist in hill climbs for years, immediately showed his consistency by driving the powerful BMW to reach the excellent time of 1'47.763, fourth-best overall, not bad considering that Iacoangeli had never driven on this track. I thank Marco and all his staff enormously for allowing me to install an action-cam inside the car, in what I believe is the best European GT3 naturally aspirated V8 sounding engine. But let's talk about the Z4 GT3. The engine is derived from the M3 E92, code P65B44, 4.400cc which develops about 550 hp and over 500 Nm of torque for a weight of only 1.190kg thanks to the carbon fibre body panels. The transmission is 6-speed sequential gearbox.

Ho potuto filmare nuovamente la splendida BMW Z4 GT3 del forte pilota Marco Iacoangeli che ha preso parte all'ultimo round 2019 del Time Attack italia presso il circuito di Imola. Iacoangeli, per anni specialista nelle cronoscalate ha da subito mostrato la sua consistenza guidando la potente BMW fino a raggiungere l'ottimo tempo di 1'47.763, quarto migliore in assoluto fra tutte le vetture in gara, non male considerando che Iacoangeli non aveva mai girato su questa pista. Ringrazio enormemente Marco e tutto il suo staff per avermi permesso di installare una action-cam all'interno dell'abitacolo, in quella che ritengo la vettura GT3 europea con il miglior sound da motore V8 aspirato. Ma parliamo della Z4 GT3. l motore è derivato dall' M3 E92, codice P65B44, 4.400cc che sviluppa circa 550cv ed oltre 500 Nm di coppia per muove un peso di soli 1.190kg grazie anche ai pannelli della carrozzeria in fibra di carbonio. Il cambio è sequenziale a 6 marce.
