Carlos Sainz & Charles Leclerc Test Day - January 27th, 2022 - Ferrari SF71H at Fiorano Circuit

Carlos Sainz & Charles Leclerc returned to the track at Fiorano today, Thursday, January 27th, 2022, aboard the 2018 Ferrari SF71H. The Spanish conducted the tests in the morning while the Monegasque pilot's turned in the afternoon. Both have completed many laps to prepare for Formula 1 season, which kicks off with official tests from 23 to 25 February in Barcelona. I also wanted to make a virtual comparison using the split-screen technique, nothing scientific as I don't have lap times. The single-seater Ferrari SF71H (internal code 669) in the hands of factory drivers Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen reached 571 points and second place in the constructors' standings in the 2018 F1 world championship. Simone Resta and Mattia Binotto designed it to adopt the Ferrari 062 engine EVO 1.6-liter V6 turbo hybrid coupled to an electronically controlled sequential semi-automatic gearbox with eight gears + reverse. Other construction features include a frame in composite material and carbon fibre, and the overall weight of the car is 733Kg with water, oil and driver. Enjoy! ????

Carlos Sainz & Charles Leclerc sono tornati in pista a Fiorano nella giornata di oggi, Giovedì 27 Gennaio 2022, a bordo della Ferrari SF71H del 2018. Lo spagnolo ha condotto I test all mattina, mentre nel pomeriggio è stato il turno del pilota monegasco. Entrambi hanno compiuto molti giri per prepararsi alla prossima stagione di Formula 1 che prenderà il via con i test ufficiali dal 23 al 25 Febbraio a Barcellona. Ho voluto realizzare anche un confronto virtuale tramite la tecnica dello split screen, niente di scientifico non disponendo dei tempi sul giro. La monoposto Ferrari SF71H (codice interno 669) nelle mani dei piloti ufficiali Sebastian Vettel e Kimi Räikkönen ha conquistato 571 punti ed il secondo posto nella classifica costruttori nel campionato del mondo F1 del 2018. Progettata da Simone Resta e Mattia Binotto adotta il motore Ferrari 062 EVO da 1.6-Litri V6 turbo ibrido accoppiato ad un cambio semiautomatico sequenziale a controllo elettronico formato da 8 marce + retromarcia. Altre caratteristiche costruttive comprendono un telaio in materiale composito e fibra di carbonio ed il peso complessivo della monoposto è di 733Kg con acqua, olio e pilota. Buona visione! ????
