Carlos Sainz Ferrari Debut at Fiorano Circuit! - January 27, 2021 - 2018 Ferrari SF71H Test Day

January 27, 2021, will be remembered as the Carlos Sainz debut day at an F1 Ferrari single-seater wheel. We are at the Fiorano circuit for the third of five overall testing days organized by the Maranello team. On Tuesday, January 26, Leclerc was the first of the Scuderia's two pilots to complete his training session. Onboard the 2018 Ferrari SF71H, the Spanish driver completed many laps to prepare for the next Formula 1 season which kicks off with official testing on March 12 in Bahrain. 44 days have passed since the last 2020 Grand Prix which ended in Abu Dhabi at the Yes Marina circuit. Sainz was an official McLaren pilot racing with the MCL35 car in the past season, obtaining 106 points and sixth place in the championship. The Ferrari SF71H (internal code 669) in the hands of official drivers Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen reached 571 points and second place in the constructors' standings in the 2018 F1 world championship. Designed by Simone Resta and Mattia Binotto, it adopts the Ferrari 062 EVO 1.6-litre V6 turbo hybrid engine coupled to an electronically controlled sequential semi-automatic gearbox consisting of 8 gears + reverse. Other construction features include a chassis in composite material and carbon fibre, and the overall weight of the car is 733Kg with water, oil and driver. Enjoy! ????

Mercoledì 27 Gennaio 2021 verrà ricordato come il giorno in cui il pilota Carlos Sainz ha finalmente debuttato al volante di una monosposto Ferrari di Formula 1. Ci troviamo sul circuito di Fiorano per la terza di cinque giornate complessive di test organizzate dalla scuderia di Maranello. Martedì 26 Gennaio stato Leclerc il primo dei due piloti della Scuderia a compiere la sua sessione di allenamento. A bordo della Ferrari SF71H del 2018 il pilota spagnolo ha compiuto molti giri per prepararsi alla prossima stagione di Formula 1 che prenderà il via con i test ufficiali il 12 Marzo in Bahrain. Sono passati 44 giorni dall'ultimo gran premio 2020 conclusosi ad Abu Dhabi sul circuito di Yes Marina. Nella stagione appena conclusasi Sainz è stato piloto ufficiale della McLaren correndo con la monoposto MCL35 ottenendo 106 punti ed il sesto posto in campionato. La Ferrari SF71H (codice interno 669) nelle mani dei piloti ufficiali Sebastian Vettel e Kimi Räikkönen ha conquistato 571 punti ed il secondo posto nella classifica costruttori nel campionato del mondo F1 del 2018. Progettata da Simone Resta e Mattia Binotto adotta il motore Ferrari 062 EVO da 1.6-Litri V6 turbo ibrido accoppiato ad un cambio semiautomatico sequenziale a controllo elettronico formato da 8 marce + retromarcia. Altre caratteristiche costruttive comprendono un telaio in materiale composito e fibra di carbonio ed il peso complessivo della monoposto è di 733Kg con acqua, olio e pilota. Buona visione! ????
