Dallara Stradale EXP, The Ultimate Track-Only Barchetta - 890Kg/493H - Monza & Imola Circuit

In 2021 Dallara presented the Stradale EXP, a car conceived exclusively for track-only use. Compared to the version from which it derives, it has undergone a significant increase in power; the Ford 2.3-liter 4-cylinder Turbo engine now delivers 493 hp and 720 Nm of torque. We are talking about 100 hp more than the normal Stradale, all to move only 890 kg! o Such a lightweight is given by constructing the spectacular carbon-fibre frame on which the vehicle is assembled. The performance is like an actual super sports car with a top speed of 300 km/h. As per the Dallara tradition, aerodynamics are incredibly well-finished. The EXP generates 1,270 kg of downforce at 260 km/h, 450 kg more than the Stradale. The maximum lateral acceleration figure is 2.7g, an exceptional value. I was lucky enough to film it during some development tests on the track at the fast Monza and Imola circuits

Nel 2021 la Dallara ha presentato la Stradale EXP, vettura concepita esclusivamente per l'uso in pista. Rispetto alla versione da cui deriva ha subito un'importante aumento di potenza, il motore Ford da 2.3-Litri 4 cilindri Turbo ora eroga 500 cv e ben 720 Nm di coppia. Stiamo parlando di ben 100 cv in più rispetto alla Stradale normale, il tutto per muovere solamente 890 Kg di vettura! Un peso così leggero è dato dalla costruzione della spettacolare vasca/telaio in carbonio su cui è assemblata l'auto. Le prestazioni sono da vera supersportiva con una velocità massima prossima ai 300 Km/h. Come da tradizione Dallara l'aerodinamica è curatissima e grazie anche all'enorme ala posteriore la EXP permette di generare 1.270 Kg di deportanza a 260 km/h, ben 450 kg in più rispetto alla Stradale. Il dato dell'accelerazione laterale massima è di ben 2.7g, un valore impressionante. Ho avuto la fortuna di filmarla durante alcuni test di sviluppo in pista sui veloci circuiti di Monza ed Imola.
