EICMA 2023 Milano - NEW 2024 Aprilia RS 457 & Trofeo - Walkaround & Details

After the presentation in September at the Misano racetrack, at the 2023 edition of EICMA at the Milan Fair, Aprilia shows the intermediate sports bike called RS 457. Indeed, it's not a widespread displacement in Europe, but it will undoubtedly be very successful in the Asian markets. Aprilia intends to "entice" a new group of young enthusiasts with a sporty, high-performance, affordable motorbike that can be driven with an A2 licence. The liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine with double camshaft distribution and four valves per cylinder develops a power of 47 HP. The suspension department features a fork with 41 mm stanchions at the front and a rear mono-shock with 130 mm travel adjustable preload. The braking system, equipped with ABS, includes a 320 mm front disc, a 4-piston radially mounted calliper, and a 220 mm rear one. The Quickshift gearbox is available as an option. The Trofeo version was also presented at EICMA, which should start a single-brand championship in 2025 but can also be purchased as a track bike for fun on track days at low costs. Gone are the indicators and headlights; the exhaust system is different, created in collaboration with SC-Project, allowing a few more horsepower to the engine. The fairing comprises fibreglass, specific footrests, handlebars, a lightened steering plate, and adjustable suspensions. Enjoy! ????

Dopo la presentazione avvenuta a Settembre presso l'Autodromo di Misano, all'edizione 2023 di EICMA in Fiera a Milano Aprilia mostra la moto sportiva intermedia chiamata RS 457. Sicuramente non una cilindrata molto popolare in Europa ma che sicuramente riscuoterà tanto successo nei mercati asiatici. Le intenzioni di Aprilia sono quelle di "ingolosire" una nuova schiera di giovani appassionati con una moto sportiva, prestazionale ma dal prezzo contenuto e guidabile con la patente A2. Il propulsore bicilindrico fronte marcia raffreddato a liquido con distribuzione a doppio albero a camme e quattro valvole per cilindro sviluppa una potenza di 47 Cv. Il reparto sospensioni vede all'anteriore una forcella con steli da 41 mm ed un mono ammartizzatore posteriore con escursione di 130 mm, regolabile nel precarico. L’impianto frenante, dotato di Abs comprende un disco anteriore da 320 mm con pinza a 4 pistoncini ad attacco radiale, e posteriore da 220 mm. Disponibile, come optional, il cambio Quickshift. Ad EICMA è stata presentata anche la versione Trofeo che dovrebbe dare il via ad un campionato monomarca nel 2025 ma acquistabile anche come moto da pista per divertirsi nei track day con costi contenuti. Via frecce e fanali, diverso il cupolino e l'impianto di scarico realizzato in collaborazione con SC Project che permette qualche cavallo in più al motore. La carenatura completa è in vetroresina, ci sono pedane e semimanubri specifici, una piastra di sterzo alleggerita e sospensioni regolabili. Buona visione! ????
