To ensure our team is ready on the defensive side of the game, in Episode 5 of Bases Covered we dive into fielding! To ensure we have a player who can catch impossibly fast hits and dive for a winning catch, we welcome free-runner Katie McDonnell to fill our third base spot. She shows Max and Jemel how to be quick on their feet (and sometimes hands!) to make a play.

Bases Covered is a brand new series from MLB, geared to educate and excite sports fans about baseball in time for the new season. Sports journalist and Los Angeles Dodgers fan Max Whittle has teamed up with Hashtag United player and influencer Jemel One Five to build a baseball team, made up of celebrity influencers, without leaving their houses.
