Ferrari 499P Le Mans Hypercar (LMH) #50 Testing at Pista di Fiorano - June 26, 2023 - Ready to Monza

The Ferrari 499P Le Mans Hypercar (LMH) #50 took to the track today at Fiorano for a test session. The car entered the top class of the FIA World Endurance Championship and will soon participate in the 6 Hours of Monza. I imagine that today is in preparation for the next competition. All of us still have in our eyes the splendid victory at Le Mans of the sister car, Number 51 and the fantastic parade of celebrations in Maranello last week. Managed by the AF Corse team, the car is built with a carbon fibre monocoque and uses the Ferrari Tipo F163 engine. It is a 3-litre twin-turbo 120° V6 + 272 Hp electric motor for a total of 500 KW, equivalent to 680 HP limited as per regulation. Furthermore, it adopts a 7-speed Xtrac sequential mechanical gearbox. It was designed by Ferdinando Cannizzo & Flavio Manzoni as heir to the 312 PB. Enjoy! ????

La Ferrari 499P Le Mans Hypercar (LMH) #50 è scesa oggi in pista a Fiorano per una sessione di test. La vettura iscritta nella top class del FIA World Endurance Championship parteciperà prossimamente alla 6 Ore di Monza ed immagino che la giornata di oggi sia in preparazione per la prossima competizione. Tutti noi abbiamo ancora negli occhi la splendida vittoria a Le Mans dell'auto gemella, la Numero 51 e la strepitosa parata di festeggiamenti a Maranello, la settimana passata, tra ali di folla. Gestita dal team AF Corse la vettura è costruita con monoscocca in fibra di carbonio ed utilizza il motore Ferrari Tipo F163. Si tratta di un V6 a 120° biturbo da 3-Litri + motore elettrico da 272 Hp per un totale di 500 KW equivalenti a 680 Hp limitati come da regolamento. Adotta un cambio meccanico sequenziale Xtrac a 7 rapporti. E' stata progettata da Ferdinando Cannizzo & Flavio Manzoni come erede della 312 PB. Buona visione! ????
