Ferrari F40 GT Competizione + Multicam On-Board - Flames, Flatout & Turbo Sound - Drive Experience

Seeing, hearing and filming in action the Ferrari F40 GT competition of Toni Auto's friends in Maranello is always a pleasure. Personally, I find the F40 as the peak and the sum of all that a "prancing horse" car should have and the fact that it's so beautiful and performing, with its turbo and its malice, make it unique. We'll never stop thanking Eng. Materazzi for having given this piece of art to the world. Specifically, the car was prepared by Michelotto after having achieved experience with the first F40 LM units. Later, few GT and GTE models were built to compete in the Global GT Series championship. This specific model arrived third in its class during Ferrari Concours d'elegance organized for the 70th anniversary of the brand on the Fiorano track and features a 2.9 liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that develops about 590hp, 6-speed manual transmission and a weight of only 1050kg thanks the use of a lot of light material such as Kevlar and carbon fiber for the construction, effectively leveling the use of composite materials for road models, even if only in high performance cars and no longer in the prototype state. I have to thank all the Toni auto guys who have allowed me and my friend and Youtuber Davide458Italia (https://www.youtube.com/user/davide45 ...) with whom I collaborated to make the video, to be able to install several cameras inside and outside the F40. I have to tnak also Davide Cironi who allowed me to take part in his Drive Experience at the Modena racetrack and film the car. Needless to say that it was a real pleasure to work the material produced being a big fan of the legendary F40. Enjoy!

Vedere, sentire e filmare in azione la Ferrari F40 GT competizione degli amici di Toni Auto a Maranello è sempre un piacere. Personalmente trovo l'F40 come l'apice e la somma di tutto quello che una vettura del cavallino dovrebbe avere ed il fatto che sia così bella e performante, con i suoi turbo e la sua cattiveria, la rendono unica. Non smetteremo mai di ringraziare l'Ing. Materazzi per aver dato al mondo quest'opera d'arte. Nello specifico la vettura fu preparata da Michelotto per le competizioni dopo aver conseguito l'eperienza con le prime F40 LM realizzate. In seguito vennero costruiti pochi esemplari di GT ed infine GTE per gareggiare nel campionato Global GT Series. Il modello che qui vedete, giunto terzo al concorso di eleganza Ferrari organizzato per il 70th anniversario del marchio sulla pista di Fiorano, monta un motore V8 twin turbo da 2.9 litri accreditato di 590cv, cambio manuale a 6 marce ed un peso di soli 1050kg grazie all'impiego di molto materiale leggero quale kevlar e fibra di carbonio per la costruzione, spianando di fatto, su vetture non più allo stato di prototipo, l'utilizzo dei materiali compositi per modelli stradali anche se di nicchia e ad alte prestazioni.
