When the little Fiat-Abarth 695 took the track, the show never fails and the small Motor Show circuit was the demonstration. I have to thank immensely the Squadra Corse Abarth, Fiat and the driver Ygit Alparslan Timur for giving me the opportunity to take some on-board footage during a few laps of the last race that saw just the Turkish rider to win the trophy beating the Italian driver Cosimo Barberini. Probably the qualities to rally driver and his aggression combined with the speed have allowed Timur to win despite the morning crash. Congrats! The 695 Assetto Corse Evolution has seen an increase to 215 hp from its 1.4-liter Turbo engine and a reduction in weight which now stand at 940 Kg. Inside we fin the Sadev sequential 6-speed gearbox, while outside some aerodynamic modifications. Despite the obvious front-wheel drive understeer these small 695 are very competitive and fun to see especially during the races. Enjoy the video ;-)

Quando in pista scendono le piccole Fiat Abarth 695 lo spettacolo non manca mai ed il piccolo circuito ricavato nell'area 48 del Motor Show ne è stata la dimostrazione. Devo ringraziare immensamente la Squadra Corse Abarth, Fiat ed il pilota Ygit Alparslan Timur per avermi dato l'opportunità di riprendere on-board la vettura durante alcuni giri dell'ultima gara che ha visto proprio il pilota Turco vincere il trofeo battendo l'italiano Cosimo Barberini. Probabilmente le doti da rallysta e la sua aggressività unita alla velocità hanno permesso a Timur di vincere nonostante l'incidente della mattina. Complimenti. La 695 Assetto Corse Evoluzione ha visto l'incremento a 215 cv di potenza dal suo motore Turbo da 1.4 litri ed una riduzione di peso che ora si assesta a 940 Kg. All'interno troviamo il cambio sequenziale a 6 marce della Sadev mentre all'esterno ulteriori modifiche aerodinamiche. Nonostante l'evidente sottosterzo da trazione anteriore queste piccole 695 sono molto competitive e divertenti specialmente da vedere in gara. Buona visione ;-)
