Ford Capri RS 3100 Touring Car, Action + Onboard - 470Hp V6 N/A Engine Sound - Mugello Classic 2023

I love the Ford Capri RS 3100 Touring Car; it's great. I'm thrilled to have been able to film, for the second time, this example cared for by Breitt Racing and driven by Emile Breittmayer. We are at the 2023 edition of the Mugello Classic by Peter Auto, and the car you see competes in the Heritage Touring Cup category. I have to thank the driver for allowing us to insert an action cam in the cockpit and delighting us with the fantastic sound generated by the engine during the qualifying session. The car, born in 1975, is the latest and most potent evolutionary stage of the Group 2 touring cars. Under the front bonnet, we find a Ford-Cosworth GAA 3.4-Litre naturally aspirated V6 engine with an aluminium head and four valves per cylinder capable of developing approximately 470 Hp (350 kW) at 8,750 rpm. The gearbox is a 5-speed manual ZF, rear-wheel drive and lightweight, with under 1,100 kg. Together with the BMW 3.0 CSL, it represented the most powerful and fastest alternative to the touring cars of those years. Amo la Ford Capri RS 3100 Touring Car, è davvero un'auto magnifica. Sono molto felice di aver potuto filmare, per la seconda volta, questo esemplare curato da Breitt Racing e pilotato da Emile Breittmayer. Ci troviamo all'edizione 2023 del Mugello Classic by Peter Auto e l'esemplare che vedete gareggia nella categoria Heritage Touring Cup. Devo ringraziare il pilota per averci permesso di inserire una action-cam nell'abitacolo e di deliziarci con il fantastico suono generato dal motore durante la sessione di qualifica. La vettura, classe 1975, è l'ultimo e più potente stadio evolutivo delle vetture turismo Gruppo 2. Sotto il cofano anteriore troviamo un motore Ford-Cosworth GAA da 3.4-Litri V6 aspirato con testa in alluminio e 4 valvole per cilindro capace di sviluppare circa 470 Hp (350 kW) a 8.750 giri/min. Il cambio è un ZF manuale a 5 rapporti, trazione posteriore ed un peso molto contenuto, sotto i 1.100Kg. Assieme alla BMW 3.0 CSL ha rappresentato l'alternativa più potente e veloce delle vetture turismo di quegli anni.
