Ford Fiesta R5 vs Porsche 991 GT3, David vs Goliath. Is this an Impossible comparison? No, at least not for the clock. These two cars so different yet incredibly similar times gave me the idea for a virtual comparison video. Manuel Correia from Portugal is behind the wheel of the Ford Fiesta ST R5 +, a car designed for rallies but which with the right set-up can achieve surprising results even on the asphalt of Hillclimb races. The 1.6-Liter 4-cylinder turbo engine produces around 300hp and 475Nm of maximum torque. To move it, a 5-speed Sadev sequential gearbox and four-wheel drive. With around 1,230 kg, it does very well between the hairpin bends. At the wheel of the Porsche 991 GT3, we find the Spanish Enrique Perello, who has to manage the 4.0-Liter naturally aspirated engine capable of developing over 470hp and 480Nm of maximum torque. The gearbox is sequential with six speeds, rear-wheel drive and a weight of about 1,200 kg. Queste due auto, così diverse hanno fatto segnare tempi incredibilmente simili e questo mi ha dato l'idea per un video comparativo virtuale. Manuel Correia dal Portogallo si trova al volante della Ford Fiesta ST R5+, vettura concepita per i rally ma che con il giusto set-up può realizzare risultati sorprendenti anche sull'asfalto delle gare in salita. Di base, il motore 1.6-Litri 4 cilindri turbo produce circa 300hp e 475Nm di coppia massima. A muoverlo un cambio sequenziale Sadev a 5 rapporti e la trazione integrale. Con un peso di circa 1.230 kg, tra i tornanti se la cava egregiamente. Al volante della Porsche 991 GT3 troviamo lo Spagnolo Enrique Perello che deve gestire il motore da 4.0-Litri aspirato capace di sviluppare oltre 470hp e 480Nm di coppia massima. Il cambio è sequenziale a 6 rapporti, la trazione posteriore ed il peso di circa 1.200 Kg.
