During the second weekend of May was held at the Autodromo di Modena the 1st ACI Sport acceleration trophy with the Sadurano Motorsport timekeepers. I must say a nice event, with impressive cars who performed several 200mt drag launches (1/8 miles drag). The most spectacular car was undoubtedly the Ford Mustang Mach 1 by Race Point Drag Racing Team who normally competes in the Pro ET category. Despite the straight was evidently too short for the car, the demonstration of some launches has been spectacular. It could not be otherwise due to the huge V8 Ford engine with compressor which reaches a power of about 1.300 hp! Enjoy the video ;-)

Il secondo week-end di Maggio ha preso il via presso l'autodromo di Modena il 1° Trofeo ACI Sport accelerazione con i cronometristi di Sadurano Motorsport. Devo dire un bell'evento, con notevoli vetture che hanno effettuato diversi lanci sui 200 metri del rettilineo (1/8 miles drag). Auto di punta per spettacolarità è stata senza dubbio la Ford Mustang Mach 1 del Race Point Drag Racing Team che solitamente gareggia nella categoria Pro ET. Nonostante il rettilineo fosse evidentemente troppo corto per la vettura, la dimostrazione di alcuni lanci è stata spettacolare. Non poteva essere diversamente visto lo strepitoso V8 Ford con compressore accreditato di quasi 1.300 cv! Buon divertimento ;-)
