Ford RS200 Evolution Extreme Monsters - 750Hp Group B RallyCross & 900Hp Pikes Peak at Goodwood FOS

Two Ford RS200 Evolution Extreme Monsters are brought together in this video, the group B Rallycross version (white) and the Pikes Peak (black) version filmed at the latest editions of the Goodwood Festival of Speed ​​FOS. The white car belongs to Steve Harris and is a replica of the model with which the driver Mark Rennison raced in the Rallycross championship in the 80s and 90s. Based on the Group B specs, it's equipped with a Cosworth BDT-E 2.1-Liter Turbo engine capable of developing 750hp. The four-wheel drive allows to download all the power to the ground, and the weight is only 1,050Kg. The second car is Liam Doran's Ford RS200 Evolution Pikes Peak and built by Forge Motorsport to participate in the Pikes Peak race in the Unlimited category. Under the bonnet, we find the Cosworth BDT E2 engine brought to 2.4-Liters Turbo and heavily modified, capable of developing over 900hp and 950Nm of torque. Performance speaks for itself, from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.7 seconds! In this video, I wanted to virtually compare them, nothing scientific, just the pleasure of seeing both cars in action having been filmed in the same place.

Due modelli estremi di Ford RS200 Evolution sono riuniti in questo video, la versione group B Rallycross (bianca) e quella da Pikes Peak (nera) filmate alle ultime edizioni del Goodwood Festival of Speed FOS. La vettura bianca appartiene a Steve Harris ed è una replica del modello con cui il pilota Mark Rennison ha corso nel campionato Rallycross nel periodo degli anni 80 e 90. Basata sulla vettura con specifiche tecniche da gruppo B è dotata di un motore Cosworth BDT-E da 2.1-Litri Turbo capace di sviluppare 750cv. La trazione integrale permette di scaricare a terra tutta la potenza ed il peso è di soli 1.050Kg. La seconda vettura è la Ford RS200 Evolution Pikes Peak di Liam Doran e realizzata da Forge Motorsport per prendere parte alla gara Pikes Peak nella categoria Unlimited. Sotto il cofano troviamo il motore Cosworth BDT E2 portato a 2.4-Litri, sovralimentato e pesantemente modificato è capace di sviluppare oltre 900cv e 950Nm di coppia. Le prestazioni parlano da sole, da 0 a 100 Km/h in soli 1.7 secondi! In questo video ho voluto metterle virtualmente a confronto, niente di scientifico, solo il piacere di vederle in azione essendo state filmate nel medesimo punto.
