The Pistons overcame a 22-point deficit to earn their largest comeback victory of the season as they defeated the Grizzlies tonight in Detroit by a final score of 100-93. Ish Smith led the way for the Pistons with 22 points (13 in the 4th quarter), along with 4 assists, while Andre Drummond totaled 20 points (6-11 FG), 17 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 blocks in the victory. Bruno Caboclo led the Grizzlies with 15 points (6-13 FG) and 2 blocks, while Delon Wright finished with 15 points (4-10 FG) and 9 rebounds in the losing effort. With the win, the Pistons improve to 40-41, while the Grizzlies fall to 33-48 on the season.

With the Pistons and Hornets victories tonight, the Heat have officially been eliminated from playoff contention. The Pistons remain the 8-seed in the Eastern Conference, 1.0 game behind the 7-seed Magic and 1.0 game ahead of the 9th place Hornets.
