HAAS RT Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II Wins 12H Mugello 2023 - Antiguan's Team First Victory Race highlights

The Haas RT Team of Antigua with the Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II number 21 won the 12H of Mugello 2023 with the drivers Mathieu Detry/StéphanePerrin/Frédéric Vervisch at the wheel. This small and young group of people is fantastic, formed in less than a year and is proving to have all the credentials to continue to impose itself in the GT3 category. After its debut in the 24H SERIES in Dubai, achieving a formidable fifth place overall starting from 43rd on the grid (engine change), they subsequently conquered the first podium at the Hankook 6H ABU DHABI. So victory was in the air, and here at Mugello, from the middle of the race onwards, the Audi R8 GT3 firmly held the lead position, completing a total of 342 laps which led to crossing the finish line first with two laps ahead of the runner up, the French Saintéloc Junior Team, also on the Audi LMS GT3 EVO II. Il Team Haas RT di Antigua con l'Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II numero 21 ha vinto la 12H del Mugello 2023 con al volante i piloti Mathieu Detry/StéphanePerrin/Frédéric Vervisch. Questo piccolo e giovane gruppo di persone è stupefacente, formatosi da meno di un anno sta dimostrando di avere tutte le carte in regola per continuare ad imporsi nella gategoria GT3. Dopo il debutto nella 24H SERIES a Dubai ottenendo un formidabile quinto posto assoluto partendo dalla 43esima posizione in griglia (sostituzione del motore) ha successivamente conquistato il suo primo podio alla Hankook 6H ABU DHABI. Dunque la vittoria era nell'aria e qui al Mugello, da metà gara in avanti, l'Audi R8 GT3 ha tenuto saldamente la posizione di testa compiendo i 342 giri totali che hanno portato a tagliare il traguardo per primi con due giri di vantaggio sul secondo classificato, il Saintéloc Junior Team francese, anche loro su 'Audi LMS GT3 EVO II.
