Trae Young led the Hawks with a career-high 36 points (8-12 3pt FG) and 8 assists in the losing effort. Young’s 36 points is tied for the most by a rookie this season (J. Jackson, Jr - 11/30/2018 at BKN) and his 8 made threes also ties the most by a rookie this season (L. Shamet - 1/9/2019 vs WAS). With the win, the Rockets improve to 35-25, while the Hawks fall to 20-41 on the season.
