Goran Dragic led the Heat with 30 points (12-20 FG) and 5 assists, while Bam Adebayo added 19 points (8-12 FG), 14 rebounds and 2 blocks in the losing effort. With the win, the Celtics improve to 46-32, while the Heat fall to 38-39 on the season.

The Celtics currently sit in the 4-seed in the Eastern Conference, tied with the 5-seed Pacers (Celtics hold tiebreaker by virtue of head-to-head record) and 4.0 games behind the 3-seed 76ers, while the Heat sit in the 8-seed, 1.0 game behind the 7-seed Pistons and 0.5 games ahead of the 9th place Magic.
