Homemade Kart-Cross by Nico Conti - Slalom Show & Madness at Italian Historic Cars Camaiore 2018

Finally, I had the pleasure of filming the legendary Nico Conti aboard his homemade Kart-Cross during the slalom-show performance at the 2018 edition of the Italian Historic Cars in Camaiore. The vehicle was built on its own, starting from the chassis, so a motorcycle engine was installed, Yamaha YZF 750 R of 1992 which delivers about 115hp. The gearbox is the original motorcycle with shorter ratios, the rear suspension features a torsion bar and Showa shock absorbers come from a Honda TM. Close the vehicle specs the 10" quad wheels and a weight of 480kg with the pilot. In this video, you see him in action in Lido di Camaiore city circuit from which you also have the fun on-board. Great show full of beautiful crosspieces, skids, and burnouts.

Finalmente ho avuto il piacere di filmare il mitico Nico Conti a bordo del suo Kart-Cross autocostruito durante l'esibizione di slalom-show all'edizione 2018 dell'Italian Historic Cars a Camaiore. Il veicolo è stato realizzato in proprio partendo dal telaio, quindi è stato installato un motore da moto, Yamaha YZF 750 R del 1992 che eroga circa 115cv. Il cambio è l'originale motociclistico con rapporti più corti, le sospensioni al posteriore vedono una barra di torsione e gli ammortizzatori Showa provengono da un'Honda TM da Cross. Chiudono il quadro le ruote da quad da 10" ed un peso di 480kg con il pilota. In questo video lo vedete in azione nel circuito cittadino ricavato sul lungomare di Lido di Camaiore da cui avete anche il divertente on-board. Show e spettacolo con sono macati con bellissimi traversi, derapare e burnouts.
