Hyundai i30N TCR driven by Gabriele Tarquini, 2018 WTCR Champion! Onboard + Action, Drive Experience

I had the pleasure of filming in action the Hyundai i30 N TCR of the BRC Racing Team at the Autodromo di Modena during the 2019 Drive Experience Trackday by Davide Cironi. At the wheel the great Gabriele Tarquini, 2018 WTCR Champion, I have to thank him for allowing us to film the onboard during some demo laps session. Thank also to Hyundai Italia for availability and kindness. The car developed by Hyundai Motorsport is a very recent project, one of the last ones to take part in the Touring Car Championship. The car is powered by a 2-litre turbo engine with direct injection that develops around 350hp, coupled with a 6-speed sequential gearbox and steering wheel controls. The electronics are managed by Life Racing ECU, the tank is 100 litres as per regulation and the weight stops at 1.285kg including the pilot. Huge 380mm brake discs from Brembo with 6-piston callipers and 18-inch wheel close the technical specs. Enjoy!

Ho avuto il piacere di filmare in azione la Hyundai i30 N TCR del BRC Racing Team presso l'autodromo di Modena durante l'edizione 2019 del Drive Experience by Davide Cironi. Alla guida il mito Gabriele Tarquini, campione WTCR 2018 proprio con questa vettura che ringrazio per avermi permesso di filmare l'onboard durante alcuni giri dimostrativi. Un grande Grazie anche a Hyundai Italia per aver permesso tutto questo. La vettura sviluppata da Hyundai Motorsport è un progetto molto recente, una delle ultime arrivate a prendere parte at Touring Car Championship ed è spinta dal motore 2 litri turbo ad iniezione diretta da circa 350cv accoppiata ad un cambio sequenziale a 6 marce con comandi al volante. L'elettronica è gestita da Life Racing ECU, il serbatoio è da 100 litri come da regolamento ed il peso si ferma a 1.285kg incluso il pilota. Enormi dischi freno da 380mm della Brembo con pinze a 6 pistoncini e ruota da 18 pollici chiudono il quadro tecnico. Buona visione!
