The IRFU’s High Performance Unit under the direction of National Women’s Team head coach Adam Griggs hosted a Women’s Emerging Talent Day at the National Sports Campus in Abbottstown on Saturday 22nd September.
The camp was designed to introduce players identified from provincial development staff and from the Under 18 and senior Interprovincial series to the high performance arena.
The players were educated around Mobility Preparation, Recovery Strategies, Performance Nutrition, Strength & Conditioning as well as being guided through the National programmes key criteria for their individual positions while participating in two on-field rugby sessions.
