A member of the Millbrook First Nation, 17-year-old Jenae Bernard is passionate about hockey and helping others in her community. She frequently volunteers as a coach in Truro, N.S., including with the Indigenous Girls Hockey Program where she once participated as a player. With strong leadership skills, Bernard hopes to inspire young girls by being a positive Indigenous role model both on and off the ice.
