Ligier JS P217 LMP2 Endurance Sports Prototype at Monza - 600hp 4.2-Litre Gibson GK-428 V8 Engine

I've filmed this fast Ligier JS P217 Sports Prototype LMP2 class of the Eurointernational Group team during a Kateyama test day at the Monza racetrack. The car takes part in the ELMS (European Le Mans Series) championship and is powered by the Gibson GK-428 engine, a 4.2-litre V8 capable of developing 600hp and managed by an ECU - Cosworth MQ12Di telemetry. The gearbox is a sequential six-speed model TLS-200 manufactured by Hewland. Other technical features are a monocoque frame and bodywork in composite materials, double wishbone suspensions, adjustable shock absorbers on four different positions and AP Racing brakes. The car is very light, weighing only 930 kg.

Ho filmato questa veloce Ligier JS P217 Sport Prototipo classe LMP2 del team Eurointernational Group durante una giornata di test Kateyama all'autodromo di Monza. La vettura prende parte al campionato ELMS (European Le Mans Series) ed è mossa dal motore Gibson GK-428, un V8 da 4.2-Litri capace di sviluppare 600hp e gestito da una telemetria ECU - Cosworth MQ12Di. Il cambio è un sei marce sequenziale modello TLS-200 prodotto dalla Hewland. Altre caratteristi tecniche sono un telaio monoscocca ed una carrozzeria in materiali compositi, sospensioni a doppio braccio oscillante, ammortizzatori regolabili su 4 differenti posizioni e freni AP Racing.
