Ligier JS2 R Kit Endurance - 330Hp 3.7-Litre Ford V6 Engine - TCX Class, 12h Mugello, 24h Series

This Ligier JS2 R with Kit Endurance was a real surprise. It took part at 12H of Mugello in 2020, the final race of the international 24H Series championship organized by Creventic. The model brought into the race by the Nordschleife Racing Team is equipped with special modifications to allow the car to face long-distance races like this one. We find better aerodynamics with a large GT-style rear wing, an equally large air diffuser at the rear and roof vents to better cool the power unit. It is mechanical powered by the Ford Duratec 24S engine, a 3.7-litre V6 located in the central-rear position capable of developing 330hp at 7,000 rpm. The gearbox is a sequential 6-speed with steering wheel controls. The Brembo braking system consists of four-piston calipers, at the front there are 343mm discs, and at the rear 304mm, the wheels are 18". The body is in fibreglass, the frame is a tubular cage, and the car's overall weight is about 1,000 kg. Driven by Guillaume Roman and Daniel Waszczinski, it won the TCX and reached the 9th overall place. Enjoy! ????

Questa Ligier JS2 R con Kit Endurance è stata una vera sopresa ed ha preso parte alla 12H del Mugello nel 2020, gara conclusiva facente parte del campionato internazionale 24H Series organizzato da Creventic. L'esemplare portato in gara dal Nordschleife Racing Team è dotato di apposite modifiche per permettere alla vettura di affrontare le gare di lunga percorrenza come questa. Troviamo una migliore aerodinamica con una grande ala posteriore in stile GT, un'altrettanto grande diffusore d'aria al posteriore e prese d'aria sul tetto per raffreddare meglio il propulsore. Maccanicamente è mossa dal motore Ford Duratec 24S, un V6 da 3.7-Litri collocato in posizione centrale-posteriore capace di sviluppare 330cv a 7.000 giri/min. Il cambio è un sequenziale a 6 rapporti con comandi al volante. L'impianto frenante della Brembo è composto da pinze a quattro pistoncini, all'anteriore ci sono dischi da 343mm ed al posteriore da 304mm, le ruore sono da 18". La carrozzeria è in fibra di vetro, il telaio è una gabbia tubolare ed il peso complessivo della vettura è di circa 1.000 Kg. Pilotata da Guillaume Roman e Daniel Waszczinski si è aggiudicata la vittoria nella sua classe, la TCX ed il 9° posto assoluto. Buona visione! ????
