Marc Genè & Olivier Beretta behind the wheels of Ferrari F2007 & F2008 ????V8 SCREAM at Misano Circu

I enjoyed filming Marc Genè & Olivier Beretta driving the F1 Ferrari F2007 & F2008, world champion single-seaters. We are on the Misano circuit during the Ferrari 2020 Finali Mondiali, which was postponed due to the health situation in March 2021. These two specimens participated in track sessions exclusively dedicated to F1 customers and the two famous drivers/test drivers. They performed a few rounds of Shake-down before letting their owners drive them. Tracing history briefly, the F2007 model is the Formula 1 single-seater that competed in the 2007 season and won the drivers 'title with Kimi Räikkönen and the constructors' title with the added help of Felipe Massa. It remains the last recent car to have brought the world championship one-two back to Maranello. The F2008, an evolution of the previous model, repeated its success by winning only the constructors' championship in 2008, always with the same pilots. The code 056 engine powers both single-seaters, a 2.4-litre naturally aspirated V8 combined with a 7-speed gearbox. The independent suspensions are quadrilateral at the front and rear. The monocoque is made of composite material and carbon fibre, carbon brakes, and the cars' overall weight that settle at 600Kg. It was nice to hear the scream of the V8 engines recalling the past and glorious Formula 1 seasons. Enjoy! ????

Ho avuto il piacere di filmare Marc Genè & Olivier Beretta alla guida delle Ferrari F2007 & F2008 di F1, monoposto campioni del mondo. Ci troviamo sul circuito di Misano durante il Finali Mondiali Ferrari 2020 che a causa della situazione sanitaria è stato posticipato, svolgendosi nel mese di Marzo 2021. Questi due esemplari hanno partecipato a sessioni di pista esclusivamente dedicate alle F1 clienti ed i due famosi piloti/collaudatori hanno eseguito alcuni giri di Shake-down prima di lasciarle guidare ai rispettivi proprietari. Ripercorrendo brevemente la storia, il modello F2007 è la monoposto di Formula 1 che ha gareggiato nella stagione 2007, ha vinto il titolo piloti con Kimi Räikkönen ed il titolo costruttori assieme a Felipe Massa. Resta tutt'ora l'ultima vettura recente ad aver riportato a Maranello la doppietta iridata. La F2008, evoluzione del modello precedente ha bissato il successo vincendo il solo campionato costruttori nel 2008 sempre con la stessa coppia di piloti. Entrambe le monoposto sono mosse dal motore codice 056, un V8 aspirato da 2.4 litri abbinato ad un cambio a 7 rapporti. Le sospensioni indipendenti sono a quadrilateri all'anteriore ed al posteriore, le monoscocche realizzate in materiale composito e fibra di carbonio, freni in carbonio ed un peso complessivo delle auto che si assesta sui 600Kg. E' stato bello risentire l'urlo dei motori V8 ricordando le passate e gloriose stagioni di Formula 1. Buona visione! ????
