I've filmed this spectacular Maserati MC12 GT1 in Vitaphone livery at Spa Francorchamps circuit during some laps dedicated to the GT1 cars during the Spa Classic days organized by Peter Auto. Exclusively track version, made in only 15 nunits, the MC12 GT1 comes from the road version produced in 50 pieces to participate in the GT1 championship. In the 2005 and 2006 season the car won both championship, pilots and builders. The Corsa version is based on the FXX project and is powered by the acclaimed V12 engine with an output power of about 555 kw (755 hp) at 8,000 rpm, and 92 kilowatts (125 hp) higher than the road specs. The weight is only 1.150 kg thanks to the carbon-fiber construction. The braking system is carbo-ceramic system without ABS.

Ho filmato questa spettacolare Maserati MC12 GT1 in livrea Vitaphone sulla pista di Spa Francorchamps durante alcuni turni dedicati alla categoria GT1 nelle giornate Spa Classic organizzate da Peter Auto. Versione esclusivamente da pista, realizzata in soli 15 esemplari, la MC12 GT1 deriva dalla versione stradale prodotta in 50 unità per avere l'omologazione necessaria a partecipare nel campionato GT1. Plurivittoriosa nelle stagioni 2005 e 2006 la versione Corsa è basata sul progetto FXX ed è spinta dal V12 accreditato di una potenza pari a 555 kw (755 CV) a 8000 giri/min, ben 92 kilowatt (125 CV) superiore alla variante da strada. Il peso si ferma a soli 1.150 kg grazie alla cellula in carbonio. L'impianto frenante è carbo-ceramico privo di ABS.
