Maserati MC20 Cielo Walkaround, Details & Exploded at Motor Valley Fest + Actions at Goodwood FOS

Presented in 2022 with the first official public appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2022, of which you can see the images, the Maserati MC20 Cielo is also present at the Motor Valley Fest 2023. We are in Modena for the event, which takes place from 11 to 14 May. Specifically, the car is on display in the courtyard of the Palazzo Ducale, headquarters of the Military Academy, and other fantastic Emilian supercars. This "open" variant of the MC20 has been in production for about one year and uses a rigid folding roof made by Webasto in electrochromic glass. Compared to the coupe, we find two roll bars behind the seats and the flat engine hood at the ends has hot air vents for the engine. The Maserati technicians have done a great job seeing that this open version, specially stiffened, weighs only 65 kg more than its couè sister, stopping the scale needle at 1,540 kilograms. Mechanically everything remains unchanged; the engine's 3.0-Litre V6 Twin-Turbo can develop 630 Hp at 7,500 rpm and 730 NM of maximum torque. An 8-speed DCT automatic gearbox with paddles on the steering wheel moves it. The carbon fibre frame was created in collaboration with Dallara. The external bodywork is also in composite materials. Presentata nel 2022 con la prima apparizione ufficiale in pubblico al Goodwood Festival of Speed 2022 di cui vedete le immagini, anche la Maserati MC20 Cielo è presente al Motor Valley Fest 2023. Ci troviamo a Modena per la manifestazione che si svolge dall'11 al 14 Maggio e nello specifico l'auto è in esposizione all'interno del cortile del Palazzo Ducale, sede dell'Accademia Militare assieme ad altre fantastiche supercars emiliane. Da circa 1 anno è in produzione questa variante "scoperta" della MC20 che impiega un tettuccio rigido pieghevole realizzato dalla Webasto in vetro elettrocromico. Esteticamente, rispetto alla coupè, troviamo due roll-bar dietro i sedili ed il cofano motore piatto alle estremità presenta degli sfoghi d'aria calda per il motore. I tecnici Maserati hanno fatto un grande lavoro visto che questa versione aperta, appositamente irrigidita, pesa solamente 65 Kg in più della sorella couè, fermando l'ago della bilancia a 1.540 Kg. Meccanicamente resta tutto invariato, troviamo in posizione centrale posteriore il motore da 3.0-Litri V6 Twin-Turbo capace di sviluppare 630 Hp a 7.500 giri/min e 730 NM di coppia massima. A muoverlo ci pensa un cambio automatico DCT 8 rapporti con palette al volante. Il telaio in fibra di carbonio è stato realizzato in collaborazione con Dallara. Anche la carrozzeria esterna è in materiali compositi. Buona visione! ????
