McLaren MCL33 Formula One [F1] - 2018 Official Pre-Season Tests - Montmelò (Barcelona) Highlights

The McLaren MCL33 is definitely one of the long-awaited single-seaters for the 2018 Formula One season. Why? Well, certainly the change of the engine, now Renault instead of Honda. McLaren has spent the last three years trying to solve the power units reliability problems. A decisive change that at least for the tests, for now, seems to have given the British manufacturer right. Each driver has completed more than 100 laps without problems. At the wheel again the couple captained by the Spaniard Fernando Alonso, 2 times world champion and Stoffel Vandoorne. To fix the French engine inside the McLaren chassis, all rear suspensions have been redesigned. La McLaren MCL33 è sicuramente una delle monoposto tanto attese per la stagione 2018 di Formula 1. Il motivo? Beh, sicuramente il cambio del fornitore dei motori che ora è Renault al posto di Honda con il quale la McLaren ha passato gli ultimi tre anni cercando di risolvere i problemi di affidabilità che affliggevano le power unit. Un deciso cambio di rotta che almeno nei test, per ora, sembra aver dato ragione al costruttore britannico visto che ogni pilota ha compiuto oltre 100 giri senza aver problemi. Al volante nuovamente la coppia capitanata dallo spagnolo Fernando Alonso, 2 volte campione del mondo e Stoffel Vandoorne. Per alloggiare il propulsore francese tutte le sospensioni posteriori sono state riprogettate.
