McLaren P1 & P1 GT "LongTail" by Lanzante - 900+ Hp Powerful Hybrid Hypercars at Goodwood FOS!

The cars you see are two impressive McLaren P1, hybrid hypercars, both road versions. As you may have noticed, one of the two is the P1 GT made by Lanzante who wanted to pay homage to the "LongTail" version of the famous F1 GT model of the English brand. Lanzante, in addition to being the team that won the 24h Le Mans in 1995 with an F1 GTR model, also deals with restoring and keeping the cars in perfect condition for customers. After having created six road P1 LM models, he decided to present this one, which will be produced in just three units. Completely lightened, equipped with the air intake on the roof, different exhaust system and the "long tail", it's a real homage to the 90s F1 GTR Longtail. Both models, which I've filmed in the last two editions of the Festival of Speed ​​(FOS), are equipped with a twin-turbo V8 engine that develops around 740hp and an electric unit that develops 180hp.
These Hybrid Hypercars reached over 900hp which allow impressive performances, a top speed of 350Km/h and a 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds.

Le vetture che vedete sono splendidi esemplari di McLaren P1, hypercars ibride, entrambe versioni stradali. Come avrete notato ed una delle due è la P1 GT realizzata da Lanzante che ha voluto rendere omaggio alla versione "LongTail" del famoso modello F1 GT della casa inglese. Lanzante, oltre ad essere il team che le 1995 ha vinto la 24h di Le Mans con un modello di F1 GTR, si occupa anche di restaurare e mantenere in perfetto stato le vetture per i clienti. Dopo aver realizzato 6 modelli di P1 LM stradali ha deciso di presentare a Goodwood questo modello che verrà realizzato in soli tre esemplari. Completamente alleggerito, dotato di presa d'aria sul tetto, diverso impianto di scarico ed ovviamente la "coda lunga" è un chiaro riferimento a quella che fu appunto la F1 GTR Longtail degli anni novanta. Entrambi i modelli, che ho filmato nelle ultime due edizioni del Festival of Speed (FOS) sono dotate di un motore termico V8 twin-turbo che sviluppa circa 740cv e di un motore elettrico che sviluppa 180cv.
Le supercar ibride hanno quindi oltre 900cv che le permettono prestazioni mpressionanti, oltre 350Km/h di velocità massima ed uno 0-100 in 2,8 secondi.
