During the 2016 Peroni Race weekend at he Imola circuit some F1 cars took the track along the Boss GP formula cars. There was also a Minardi PS04B F1 car driven by the Dutchman Frits van Eerdthe in the open class. In the 2004 season this F1 car was driven by Gianmaria Bruni and Zsolt Baumgartner who finished 8th at the United States Grand Prix picking up his first point. The car in the space of two seasons took part in 21 races collecting a total of 8 points. It's equipped with a Cosworth CR-3L 3.000 cc V10 Naturally aspirated rear mid-engine, longitudinally mounted and weight about 600 kg. Other vehicle specs are a chassis composed of a carbon fibre and aluminium honeycomb composite monocoque, a double wishbones, push-rod operated torsion springs and dampers, a complete Hitco/Brembo ventilated carbon discs system and a Minardi 6 speed Sequential gearbox.

Durante il Peroni Race weekend 2016 all'autodromo di Imola sono scese in pista assieme alle Boss GP, alcune Formula 1. Tra queste una Minardi PS04 B del team VES Racing e guidata dall'olandese Frits van Eerdthe nella categoria Open Class. Nella stagione 2004/2005 questa vettura dispuntò un totale di 21 Gran Premi ed era portata in gara dai piloti Gianmaria Bruni e Zsolt Baumgartner. Proprio quest'ultimo nel primo anno conquistò 1 punto classificandosi decimo al Gran Premio degli Stati Uniti. In totale, nelle due stagioni, la PS04B totalizzò 8 punti. L'auto è spinta da un motore Corsworth V10 aspirato da 3.000cc montato in modo longitudinale in posizione cantrale-posteriore. Altre informazioni tecniche sono un peso di circa 600 Kg, una monoscocca in Carbonio ed alluminio, sospensioni a doppio braccio oscillante con sistema Push-rod, impianto frenante completamente in carbonio della Hico/Brembo ed un cambio sequenziale a 6 marce di fabbricazione Minardi.
