Rondae Hollis-Jefferson converted a layup with 0.8 seconds remaining to complete the Nets’ comeback as they overcame a 28-point second-half deficit (largest second-half comeback this season and ties the largest deficit overcome by any team this season – LAC at BOS on 2/9/2019) to defeat the Kings tonight in Sacramento by a final score of 123-121. The Nets were led by D’Angelo Russell, who posted a career-high 44 points (27 in the 4th quarter, most points by any player in a quarter this season), along with 12 assists in the victory. Russell also connected on 6 three-pointers in this game to set a franchise-record for made threes in a season (202). Marvin Bagley III led the Kings with 28 points (12-15 FG), 7 rebounds and 2 assists in the losing effort. With the win, the Nets improve to 37-36, while the Kings fall to 34-36 on the season.
