The Ireland Men’s and Women’s 7s teams are on the journey of a lifetime as they prepare for the Rugby World Cup Sevens in San Francisco in July. Irish Rugby TV will follow the two squads as they traverse the globe on their 7s journey.

At the end of November both squads travelled to Dubai. The Women competed at the first round of the World Series while the Men’s side took part in the Dubai 7s International Invitational tournament.

In the opening episode, we hear from team Captains Lucy Mulhall and Billy Dardis, there’s highlights from the games and we get an insight into travel nutrition and recovery from Allen Temple–Jones (Head of Athletic Performance – Sevens), Marcus Shorthall (Performance Nutritionist) and Jo Montgomery (Physiotherapist), as well as from Eve Higgins on winning her first senior 7s cap.
