Peugeot 205 T16 Group B (1986) - On-Board Action, HUGE Exhaust Flames! - 2018 Vernasca Silver Flag

This 1986 Peugeot 205 T16 Group B, Ex-Official Sanremo Rally, crew Corradin Franco − Gabriel Albino, was brought to the race during the 2018 Vernasca Silver Flag historic hill climb revival. I have to thank the owner and his staff for allowing me and my friend Davide458Italia to realize the camera car video. The car, one of the 40 built from 1984 to 1986 (including the EVO 2) mounts in a central rear position a 1.775 cc 4 cylinder engine, 4 valves per cylinder, Garrett turbo, capable of developing 460 hp (343 kW) at 7.600 rpm/min and a torque of 490 Nm (361 ft-lbs) at 5.500 rpm. The gearbox is 5-speed manual, all-wheel drive, carbon fiber and kevlar body that have allowed to reduce the total weight of the car to only 910 kg (2.006 lbs).

Questa Peugeot 205 T16 Group B del 1986, ex ufficiale Corradin Franco − Gabriel Albino ha corso il rally di Sanremo nello stesso anno prendendo parte al campionato italiano. Ho avuto il piacere di filmarla durante l'edizione 2018 della Vernasca silver Flag, rievocazione e concorso dinamico in salita per vetture storiche. Ringrazio il proprietario dell'auto che ha permesso a me ed all'amico Davide458Italia di realizzare l'onboard camera. La vettura, una delle 40 costruite dal 1984 al 1986 (incluse le EVO 2) monta in posizione centrale posteriore un motore 4 cilindri da 1.775 cc, 4 valvole per cilindro, Turbo Garrett, capace di sviluppare 460 cv (343 kW) a 7.600 giri/min ed una coppia di 490 Nm (361 ft lbs) a 5.500 rpm. Il cambio è manuale a 5 rapporti, trazione integrale, carrozzeria in fibra di carbonio e kevlar che hanno permesso di ridurre il peso totale dell'auto a soli 910 Kg (2,006 lbs).
