Pierre Gasly & Daniil Kvyat Tests the 2020 AlphaTauri AT01 at Imola Circuit - Honda V6 Engine Sound!

Finally, I'm pleased to show you the video in which Pierre Gasly and Daniil Kvyat, official pilots of the Scuderia AlphaTauri, were able to test the new 2020 single-seater, marked AT01 at Imola circuit. We are at the end of June; the racetrack has recently received the Grade 1 license which allows it to host Formula One again. The thing that finally will happen, as we all know, on November 1st, the day in which Daniil Kvyat will reach an extraordinary fourth place. First of all, however, there was the possibility for the AlphaTauri AT01 to run the Filming Day, allowed by the FIA ​​and lasting 100km on the Santerno circuit. A few months before Imola became an official circuit to the Formula One 2020 season. A little luck is sometimes needed in life. After so many years of fasting, I didn't miss the opportunity to see and film the AT01 car built-in Faenza and designed by James Key and Jody Egginton. The power unit is the Honda RA620H; a V6 Turbo unit moved by the 8-speed sequential gearbox + reverse. With its body made of carbon fibre, the overall weight of the car is 736 kg. I must admit that it was exciting and spectacular, seeing the sparks going downhill from Acque Minerali and the powerful braking at Rivazza 1 with the subsequent violent acceleration from the Rivazza 2 curve are good sensations for every enthusiast. These tests have brought good results both to the Scuderia and to the circuit, with the wish, for the latter, to see it again as a fixed appointment in F1, recalling the golden years of this sport.

Finalmente ho piacere di mostrarvi il video in cui Pierre Gasly e Daniil Kvyat, piloti ufficiali della Scuderia AlphaTauri hanno potuto testare la nuova monoposto 2020, sigla AT01 sul circuito di Imola. Ci troviamo a fine Giugno, da poco l'autodromo ha ricevuto la licenza di Grado 1 che permette di ospitare nuovamente la Formula Uno. Cosa che finalmente accadrà, come tutti sappiamo, il 1° Novembre, giornata in cui Daniil Kvyat raggiungerà uno straordinario quarto posto. Prima di tutto questo però c'è stata la possibilità per l'AlphaTauri AT01 di eseguire il Filming Day, consentito dalla FIA e della durata di 100km sul circuito del Santerno. Molto prima che venisse ufficializzata Imola tra le piste del Circus 2020. Un po' di fortuna a volte serve nella vita. Dopo così tanti anni di digiuno non mi sono fatto scappare l'occasione di vedere e filmare la monoposto AT01 costruita a Faenza e progettata da James Key e Jody Egginton. Il propulsore è l' Honda RA620H, un'unità V6 Turbo mossa dal cambio sequenziale a 8 rapporti + retromarcia. Con la sua scocca realizzata in fibra di carbonio il peso complessivo della vettura risulta di 736 kg. Devo ammettere che è stato emozionante e spettacolare, vedere le scintille in discesa dalla Acque Minerali e le poderose frenate alla Rivazza 1 con la successiva violenta accelerazione per l'uscita della Rivazza 2 sono belle sensazioni per ogni appassionato. Questi test hanno portato bene sia alla Scuderia, sia al circuito, con l'augurio, per quest'ultimo, di rivederlo come appuntamento fisso nella F1, richiamando gli anni d'oro di questo sport.
