Edge faced Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania’s second night. It was always going to be a near-thing, but in the end it was Roman Reigns proving once again why he was the WWE Universal Champion. It was a near thing at points, as Edge and Daniel Bryan both got near wins. Edge almost made Roman tap out as he used a piece of a broken chair for a cross-face before Bryan stopped Reigns. Bryan also dragged the referee out at another time, stopping the pinfall from taking place after Edge had hit Roman Reigns with a spear.
Edge looked to finish things off with two con-chair-tos. While he was able to hit Bryan with one, Jey Uso stopped him from hitting Roman. Roman instead hit him with a spear and a con-chair-to before he went on to pin both of his opponents together.
