The Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka has one of the most storied streaks in modern WWE history. She embarked on something that was equivalent to the achievements of The Undertaker and Goldberg and was sure to be the next big thing in the women’s division. Her 914-day winning streak came to a halt after she lost to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 34. Ever since then, Asuka’s character has been systematically destroyed into becoming a regular mid-carder without consequence or storyline. She finally seems to be on the path of success again, as she won a Battle Royale on SmackDown to be added to the match between Becky Lynch and Charlotte for the Women’s Championship. This is Wrestling Hub and today we will be looking at the possible reasons as to why Asuka won the Women’s Battle Royale.
