Scania FrostFire 770S V8 by Sven Erik Bergendahl - One-Off Special Truck at METS 2022 Transpotec

The spectacular Scania FrostFire 770S V8 by Sven Erik Bergendahl was a pleasant surprise for the visitors of METS 2022. During the Milan European Truck Show, concurrent with the Transpotec/Logitec fair, the latest creation by Svempa, the legendary designer of the Swedish house and 82 years old today, he showed himself in all his grandeur. Created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the V8 engine, the project started in 2019 and has finally seen the light, and after three years here, it is on display. The construction of the truck took over 1,200 hours of work, using 150 litres of paint in 7 different shades, with 18 coats of colourless paint. The specially designed loading system is also fantastic, with the possibility of opening the valves at the exhaust to increase the sound via remote control. We, therefore, had the pleasure of listening to the 770hp V8 engine, which for the occasion is shown with chrome and polished heads and manifolds, charming to look at. Great care also in the rear part of the tractor with redesigned bumpers and headlights. Enjoy! ????

Lo spettacolare Scania FrostFire 770S V8 by Sven Erik Bergendahl è stata una piacevole sorpresa per i visitatori di METS 2022. Durante il Milano European Truck Show, concomitante con la fiera Transpotec/Logitec, l'ultima creazione di Svempa, mitico designer della casa svedese ed oggi 82enne si è mostrato in tutta la sua imponenza. Creato per festeggiare il 50th anniversario del motore V8 montato sui camion svedesi, il progetto iniziato nel 2019 ha finalmente visto la luce e dopo tre anni eccolo in esposizione. La costruzione del camion ha richiesto oltre 1.200 ore di lavoro, utilizzando 150 litri di vernice in 7 diverse tonalità, con 18 strati di vernice incolore. Fantastico anche l'impianto di carico appositamente realizzato con la possibilità di apire le valvole allo scarico per aumentarne il suono tramite telecomando. Abbiamo quindi avuto il piacere di ascoltare il motore V8 da 770hp che per l'occasione si mostra con le teste ed i collettori cromati e lucidati, molto bello a vedersi. Grande cura anche nella parte posteriore della motrice con paraurti e fari ridisegnati. Buona visione! ????
