It is hard to imagine a debut going any better. Jonathon Trott was handed his cap for the Oval Test of the tense 2009 Ashes series. The teams were tied at 1-1 with just one match to go. Not only did Trott score a superb hundred in England's second innings, he took part in an incredible final day in which England took 10 wickets to win the match.
