Daren is joined by Seattle Kraken broadcasters JT Brown & Everett Fitzhugh. Fitzhugh, usually the radio voice of the Kraken, and Brown, the analyst on the Kraken's TV broadcasts will work together in the TV booth this week, it will be the first all-Black TV broadcast in NHL history. They talk about just how special the occasion is and the importance of representation in hockey. They talk about how their friendship started and has grown since joining the Kraken, and some of the nerves that they will surely experience during their first TV broadcast together. Everett isn't shy talking about some of challenges he dealt with as a black male trying to work in hockey. They also discuss the Seattle Kraken's first season, the challenges the team has faced, the expectations within the organization and some of highlights of attending a game at Climate Pledge Arena. Both guys say they are looking forward to calling the game together and are confident that the chemistry that they've built through their friendship comes across on the broadcast.
