With 20 years between them, Azhar Mahmood and Tom Curran combined to turn over the home side.
Contributing 42 and 32, respectively, the pair combined for seven wickets to defend Surrey’s 170. Mahmood, who took four for 38, took the man of the match award, but Tom’s three for 21, which included two wickets in the penultimate over, all but secured the win.
