Sweet Dreams...NEW 2019 Alfa Romeo Racing C38 Formula One with V8 Engine Swap Sound from Sauber C32

Finally, the new 2019 Alfa Romeo Racing C38 Formula One car [F1] that will take part in the World Championship was brought to Ferrari's private circuit in Fiorano Modenese for the first 100 kilometers possible thanks to Filming Day. Here you can still see it without a sponsor, the final livery, as well as the real presentation to the world, will be on February 18 on the Montmelò racetrack near Barcelona, in Spain during the first week of the official tests. Many of you are incurable nostalgic (well, I am too) and it goes without saying that much of the F1 car's involvement is derived from the sound of their engines, it has always been. The single-seaters with V12, V10, and V8 engines, especially naturally aspirated units, were magnificent to listen. It must also be said that much has been done to improve the sound coming from the current V6 Turbo units. So I told myself, how would you see a current single-seater with the sound of an aspirated V8 engine? And why not stay "in house" and use the Sauber C32 engine? Fortunately, a few months ago I was able to film Tatiana Calderon aboard the C32 V8 N/A during some tests on the Fiorano track and the filming fell more or less at the same points as the videos for the new C38 car driven by Raikkonen. Well, here's the video of the merger between the two worlds! Enjoy ;-)

Come sapete la nuova monoposto 2019 Alfa Romeo Racing C38 di Formula Uno [F1] che prenderà parte al Mondiale è stata portata sulla pista privata della Ferrari a Fiorano Modenese per i primi 100 chilometri possibili grazie al Filming Day. Qui la vedete ancora senza sponsor, la livrea definitiva così come la vera presentazione al mondo sarà il 18 Febbraio sulla pista di Montmelò vicino a Barcellona, in Spagna durante la prima settimana dei test ufficiali. Tanti di voi sono degli inguaribili nostalgici (beh, lo sono anche io) e va da sè che il conivolgimento generato delle vetture di F1 deriva proprio dal suono dei loro motori, è sempre stato così. Le monoposto con i propulsori V12, V10 e V8, specialmente aspirate, erano magnifiche da ascoltare. Va detto anche che tanto è stato fatto per migliorare il suono proveniente dalle attuali unità V6 Turbo. Così mi sono detto, come sarebbe vedere una monoposto attuale con il suono di un motore V8 aspirato? E perchè non rimanere in casa ed utilizzare il propulsore della Sauber C32? Fortunatamente alcuni mesi addietro ho potuto filmare Tatiana Calderon a bordo della C32 V8 N/A durante alcuni test sulla pista di Fiorano e le riprese cadevano più o meno negli stessi punti delle riprese effettuate per la nuova monoposto C38 guidata per l'occasione da Raikkonen.
