Tecno Formula One [F1] PA 123/3 (1972) ex Nanni Galli - On-Board Multicam & V12 Engine Sound!

What you see in action is the 1972 Tecno F1 PA 123/3 ex Nanni Galli filmed at the latest edition of the Bologna Motor Show in 2017. The car, derived from the F2, was the great leap that the Pederzani brothers made to arrive at the maximum series after having achieved successes in the previous category. Unfortunately, it was not a competitive car, too heavy and unreliable, which would have required huge economic effort to be modified and adequate to fight with the opponents, but the economic finance of the company specialized in Oleodinamica were not infinite. However, it remains a car to be admired for the passion with which it was built and for the fact to be in the circus of giants. The engine is a 3 litre naturally aspirated, 12 cylinder V 180° born from the mind of the Pederzani brothers and Armaroli mechanic with the involvement of engineer Giuseppe Bocchi. It develops 440 hp at 11.000 r.p.m. and moved by a Hewland FG 400 5-speed manual transmission + RM. The frame is a trellis of steel pipes of various sections, reinforced with panelling in riveted aluminium sheet. The suspensions are quadrilaterally deformable with elastic elements external to coil springs, Koni coaxial dampers. The total weight of the car, which adopts fibreglass and aluminium body panels is 580 kg. Enjoy a few laps with OnBoard Multicam at the small Bologna Motor Show circuit, which unfortunately no longer exists.

Quella che vedete in azione è la Tecno F1 PA 123/3 ex Nanni Galli del 1972 ripresa all'ultima edizione del Motor Show di Bologna del 2017. La vettura, derivata dalla F2, fu il grande salto che i fratelli Pederzani compirono per approdare alla massima serie dopo aver riscosso successi nella categoria precedente. Purtroppo non fu una vettura competitiva, troppo pesante e poco affidabile, che avrebbe richiesto enormi ingenti economici per essere modificata ed adeguata per combattere con le avversarie, ma la finanza economica dell'azienda Bolognese specializzata in Oleodinamica non erano infinite. Resta comunque una vettura da ammirare per la passione con cui fu costruita e per la piccola realtà imprenditoriale che si trovò nel circus dei giganti. Il motore è un 3 litri aspirato 12 cilindri a V di 180° nato dalla mente dei Pederzani e del preparatore Armaroli con il coinvolgimento dell'ingegner Giuseppe Bocchi, accreditato di 440 cv a 11000 r.p.m. e mosso da un cambio manuale Hewland FG 400 a 5 rapporti + RM.
Il telaio è un traliccio di tubi di acciaio di varie sezioni, rinforzato con pannellatura in lamiera di alluminio rivettata. Le sospensioni sono a quadrilateri deformabili con elementi elastici esterni a molle elicoidali, ammortizzatori coassiali Koni. Il peso totale della vettura, che adotta pannelli della carrozzeria in fibra di vetro ed alluminio è di 580 Kg. Godetevi alcuni giri di pista con OnBoard Multicam presso la piccola pista del Motor Show di Bologna che ahimè non esiste più.
